If you look toward the top-right section, you will see a pastel area. These plates make up the first of many gifts to the wall.
My good friend Jeanne gave me a large bag with a lovely broken bowl. Her grandmother had painted it, and when it broke, it broke her heart. She had tried many times to put it back together but to no avail. It had wonderful gold feet on the bottom that I carefully removed and added to the wall along with the soft greens and pinks that were once lovely peonies.
Thanks to Jeanne, her grandmother's work will last for years and years to come as part of a new work of art.
